Pattern Training
Train the patterns.
Free the conversation.
Knowing a word is not the same as being able to use it. Pattern Training turns high-value language into speech your brain and mouth can actually produce.
Recognition is only the beginning.
Pattern Training is built around a simple progression: hear useful language, understand what it is doing, copy it accurately, then produce it with less and less support.
Meet it in real language.
Useful sentence patterns arrive through understandable audio, not abstract grammar tables.
Train the sound and timing.
Shadowing and repetition teach your mouth the movements, rhythm and combinations the language requires.
Remove the support.
You move from imitation toward controlled production so the pattern becomes available without rebuilding it from scratch.
Make it automatic.
Important structures return as your vocabulary grows, until useful language starts to come faster and more naturally.
From “I know that” to “I can say that.”
Vocabulary and SRS help you recognise language. Listening makes recognition faster. Pattern Training pushes that knowledge toward production by making you retrieve, pronounce and recombine it.

Practice in the right order.
We do not ask beginners to do everything at once. Early work concentrates on listening, pronunciation, high-frequency language and controlled speaking. Complexity expands when it becomes useful.
High-value first
Common language earns practice time before rare language does.
Listening + speaking together
The sound system and the production system develop as one connected skill.
Connected to Stories
The same vocabulary and patterns can later reappear in richer reading and listening contexts.
Chinese is first.
Pattern Training is being built as a reusable Eventually Fluent system, beginning with Chinese and expanding to additional languages over time.
